If I have a guest accompanying me on this trip, what event functions will my guest be able to attend?
Event meetings, activities and meal functions are for invited Customers and Ritz-Carlton employees only.
What meals are included?
The event officially starts on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:30pm
with the Opening Reception and concludes with lunch at 12:30pm
on Friday, March 5th. All meals are group functions during this
time and are provided as part of this special event. Any food
and beverage purchased outside of these functions will be the
responsibility of the attendee. This includes, but is not
limited to - restaurants, bars, lounges, and room service.
What should I wear?
Business casual attire (e.g., Women: slacks, blouses, sweaters,
dresses; Men: sports coats, slacks) is appropriate for all
meetings and meal functions. Resort Casual and appropriate wear
for specific afternoon activities. For Thursday evening's
Reception/Dinner, a cocktail dress is appropriate wear for
ladies and suits (no ties) are appropriate wear for men.
What nights of lodging are provided complimentary?
One complimentary room is extended to each customer on the
evenings of Tuesday, March 2nd through the evening of Friday,
March 5th only.
What if I need an additional room?
There is one room available complimentary for the customer. An
additional room for your guest may be reserved sending an email
to
RitzCarltonSpecialEvents@ritzcarlton.com. The extra room is
available at $229, per room, per night, plus applicable taxes
and would be at the expense of the customer or accompanying
guest.
What are the dates and how do I book my room for the pre-and post-stays?
For our customers, the hotel has graciously offered
complimentary hotel accommodations one day prior to the event
start date, Tuesday, March 2nd and one day post event end date
of Friday, March 5th only. Other pre-post hotel dates are
offered at the special group rate of $199 plus tax per night on
February 28th-March 1st and $159 plus tax per night on March
6th. The above dates are subject to availability. Information on
how to book your hotel reservations will be included in your
conference registration confirmation email.
What should I wear while I am participating in the “Community
Footprints, Preserving the Saguaro Desert” Activities?
You will be provided a t-shirt and a hat for your
activity. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes (shorts if
weather permits). Suntan lotion and sunglasses are also
recommended.
May I book other activities or make dinner reservations through the Resort?
You may absolutely book other activities outside of the
event dates/times through the Resort! A staff member will
operate a hospitality desk exclusively for our event guests to
book individual activities, coordinate dinner reservations, and
assist in managing all transportation. The hospitality desk is
available during dates/times: Tuesday, March 2nd from
3:00PM-6:00 PM; Wednesday, March 3rd from 8:00am-1:00pm; and
Thursday, March 4th from 8:00am -1:00pm.

Will ground transportation be provided?
Complimentary ground transportation will be provided for the
event. Please forward your travel itinerary to
RitzCarltonSpecialEvents@ritzcarlton.com as soon as your
travel arrangements are confirmed.
Upon arrival at the Tucson Airport, you will be greeted in the
baggage claim area by a resort staff member who will assist you
with your luggage and escort you to your vehicle. The staff
member will have a sign which reads: “Ritz-Carlton Key Account
Event.”
How will you know what time my flight arrives/departs?
In order to properly arrange round-trip ground transportation for you,
we must receive your travel information (itinerary) to include
airline, arrival date, arrival flight number, departure date and
departure flight number. Please be sure to email your travel
itinerary to us at
RitzCarltonSpecialEvents@ritzcarlton.com as soon as your flights
have been confirmed.
NOTE : If we do not receive this information, we will be unable to
provide you with ground transportation and you will be responsible
for your own airport transfers. |
